1993 GMC K2500

My former partner and I performed extensive work to restore her 1993 GMC 3/4-ton truck. For an incomplete list of additions/repairs, see below.

  • Detailed entire truck interior and exterior

  • Removed bush bumper, winch, KC lights, and fog lights, replaced with OEM Chrome bumper, added chrome grille inserts & license plate frames

  • Removed air box extension, replaced air filter & fuel filter

  • Detailed engine bay & removed vestigial wiring

  • Windshield wiper arms replaced by late 90's-style arms and repainted

  • Exhaust rebuilt to eliminate exhaust leaks

  • Removed HID headlights, rewired and mated to stock headlights

  • Replaced cargo lamp, installed 4-hi mod

    Replaced front shocks, tailgate cables

  • Replaced PCV valve, coolant gasket, faulty washer fluid pump

  • AGM Eliminator Ultra Battery

  • Throttle cable mod for increased throttle response

  • Replaced OEM rear pillar speakers with Pioneer 6x9"s, installed 1100W amp

  • Sanded & repainted trailer hitch and tow hooks

  • Replaced headlights, side markers, and parking lights, wired halos to switch & keyed power

  • Replaced exhaust manifold gaskets, studs, & spark plug wires

  • Replaced broken coolant temperature sensor connector

  • Replaced dash bezel, repaired passenger dash speaker bezel

  • Replaced courtesy lights, cargo lamp, and side marker lights

  • Installed Prostart keyless entry system, complete with remote start & security

  • Replaced spare tire & installed heat shield, undercoated frame

  • Replaced passenger fender, fender liner, bumper brackets, and tow hooks

  • OEM grille replaced with Lincoln-style grille
